Another day, another election campaign leaflet through my door - this time from Tasmina AhmedSheikh proclaiming her to be a hard-working MP... even more so than her predecessor.

Unfortunately for me reality bites when I realised that her predecessor spent some time holding surgeries in or at least very near to the village I live in, but that’s not been carried on by Ms Ahmed-Sheikh, although no doubt she has held meetings with her many SNP followers in Ochil and South Perthshire and been quick to jump at every photo opportunity where she can be placed front and centre. A quick ‘Google’ of Tasmina Ahmed-Sheikh and BBC Question Time reveals that she was a panellist twice - March and November 2016 - which is more than her recorded visits to where I live.

Perhaps if Ms Ahmed-Sheikh spent less time on TV and more time outside the Westminster bubble - so derided by the SNP (and voting en bloc with her pals) and in touch with her real people I might be minded to vote for her. Westminster is remote enough for people like me without the people we send there to represent us overlooking us. Name and address supplied
