Perth motorsport youngster Rory Skinner endured mixed fortunes at the second round of the FIM CEV Motorcycle Repsol Moto3 Junior World Championship.

But competing at Le Mans, the 15-year-old Perth High School pupil battled in tough conditions to secure championship points.

“It was the first time at the track for me and after only two wet qualifying sessions I ended up in 10th position,”he said.

“It was a difficult race as all of our sessions had been in the wet and the race was completely dry but we managed to get another top 10 result and get more points in the championship.”
