Letham will show support to Lily

- Matthew Gallagher

Letham will be showing their support to Lily Douglas at tonight’s North of Tay Cup final.

The Seven Acres side will wear t-shirts during the pre-match warm-up with the message #supportourlily.

Nine-year-old Lily from Perth is battling a rare form of cancer.

Letham secretary Jon Kidd said:“Letham is blessed by the support and generosity of local businessman, Pete Chan, who is a very community spirited person.

“Pete has been a key element in the #supportourlily campaign and we approached him to ask if we could use the occasion of the North of Tay Final to promote the cause. “Pete agreed to this request and was willing to provide the t-shirts to be worn for the warm up prior to the game at no cost to the club.

“However, the team discussed it and agreed that they all wanted to pay for the tops and contribute to the fund for Lily.

“It is our hope that we can use the event to highlight Lily’s story and fundraise further.”
