The Best and Outstanding awards in Brahan Theatre
A select group of Perth College UHI staff and students has received special awards owing to their exceptional talents.
A ceremony was recently held in the college’s Brahan Theatre where ‘Outstanding, Best and Inspiring Awards’were doled out to class reps, college clubs, lecturers and support staff recognising their unique contribution to students’experience at the Crieff Road campus.
Student awards were presented for: best class representative; most inspiring student (staff nominated); most inspiring student (student nominated); best club or society; best student-led event; and best overall student award.
Staff awards were presented for: most inspiring lecturer; best personal academic tutor, outstanding support staff member and outstanding learning centre staff.
Opening remarks were made by Pam Wilson, Perth College UHI vice-principal, with guest speaker Angela Alexander – NUS Scotland women’s officer – providing an inspirational talk for guests and

The event was compered by student association president Holly Scrimgeour, who said afterwards: “The ceremony is a fantastic opportunity for students to show our appreciation for lecturers and fellow students.
“It’s inspiring learning about those individuals who go above and beyond to positively benefit the student population here at Perth College UHI.”
