Event chairperson Angela Baker said: “It’s been amazing. We had a really good kick off with Gala Day.

“The weather was absolutely beautiful. We had the gala in three sections of the park and there were people everywhere. The support has been fantastic.

“Those dressing up had gone to lots of effort with their costumes. Zack was a great Gala King and he had two of his friends with him as attendants.

“All the volunteers have been amazing. The cadets on Gala Day were outstanding and so were the Perthshire Woodcrafters. Thank you to everyone that has helped in any way with Kids Week in Crieff.

“We are looking forward to the ceilidh now and there are a few tickets left, which are available at Carnelian Crafts.”

The week culminates this evening with a family ceilidh in Academy Hall, on the town’s Strathearn Terrace, from 6pm.
