Shearers and shepherds will gather at Strathardle
Strathardle Sheepdog Trials are back on Saturday, July 29.
Whistles at the ready, competitors and onlookers are invited to the Glenfernate Estate, Enochdhu, where the competition takes place at by kind permission of the Amory family.
Sheepdog trials begin at noon and there is a sheep shearing competition. In order to qualify, shearers must also run a dog in the trials.
The winner, the self employed man with the most points, takes away the Lipp Quaich. The day offers food, a bar and a raffle. Admission is £1.50 for adults £1.50 and 50p for children.
