The filmmakers of tomorrow are getting ready for the Aberfeldy Film Festival next month.

Professional filmmakers will be on hand to offer youngsters from across Highland Perthshire free workshops on making their own films on Sunday, August 27.

The workshops will include all the basic skills needed to create a budding filmmaker, from creating the story and the characters, to the filming and editing process.

From 10.30am there will be an animation workshop for seven to 11 year-olds in Aberfeldy Town Hall.

There will also be a senior workshop for those up to the age of 18 from 10am on getting into film (venue to be confirmed).
