A-llot to see on city island
The allotments An open day to show off the best of very local produce is being held in Perth on Sunday, July 28.
Perth Working Men’s Garden Association is throwing open the garden gates to invite all to the annual open day on Moncreiffe Island, from 10am to around 2pm.
A spokesperson said:“This is a wonderful opportunity to see the great variety of gardens on the island and to buy some of the freshest and cheapest produce in town.
“Stalls include fruit and vegetables, flowers, home baking, jams, teas and a raffle”.
Access via the railway viaduct.
