Get a stylish new look at a great price

-

A newly-opened Perth hairdressers is hoping to prove it’s a cut above the rest.

Central Saloon on the Fair City’s Scott Street was opened by local businesswomen Barbara and Cheryl Doogan six weeks ago.

Both from Perthshire, the team have been in the trade for a combined total of more the 50 years and have worked hard to create a stylish, contemporary, base with the help of family and friends.

Centrally located opposite Perth’s Pizza Hut restaurant, well-served by bus stops and a stone’s throw from Scott Street car park, Central Saloon is the ideal spot to treat yourself to a new look when out shopping or socialising.

Cheryl explained the pair’s vision was to offer a high quality service – for ladies, gents and children – at a reasonable price so that having a trim goes from being an expensive indulgence to a regular occurrence.

And today’s paper includes a voucher giving readers 20% off their first of what is hoped will be many visits to Central Saloon.

Provost Dennis Melloy officially opened the shop on Wednesday last week.

After cutting the ribbon, he said: “It’s great to see an innovative new shop open up in the heart of Perth – something which the city badly needs.

“The place looks absolutely brilliant and I wish the business every success in the future.”
