Contest that’s full of colour

- Melanie Bonn

Seven Highland Perthshire schools had their artwork on show at the annual Art and Craft Competition and Exhibition held recently by the Rotary Club of Pitlochry.

Some 230 pieces of art were available to see in the town’s Atholl Centre, giving budding artists the valuable experience of exhibiting their work in public exhibitions.

The Rotary Club was honoured to have Kate Howie, a long standing and enthusiastic supporter of the event, to present the prizes on June 17.

Pictured here are some of the prize-winners who each received certificates and a voucher for VIVA, the specialist art and craft shop in Pitlochry.
