Foodbank’s £5k boost

-

The team at the Perth and Kinross Foodbank has welcomed a £5,000 donation to help improve its city centre facilities.

The foodbank received the donation from The Screwfix Foundation, a charity which supports community-based projects by helping them to repair, maintain and improve their facilities.

The foodbank operates from Cutlog Vennel, helping to provide emergency food packages to people across Perth and Kinross. The financial support will also help go towards repairing a delivery van.

Last year the foodbank donated 3,400 emergency packages for those in need.
