Pupils to help spread anti-racism message

SHOW RACISM THE RED CARD

With the new school year under way, Saints in the Community project staff will once again be undertakin­g a series of visits to local primary schools where older pupils will take part in a workshop during which they learn about tolerance, understand­ing and tackling racism.

WALKING FOOTBALL

Walking Football takes place at McDiarmid every Thursday from 7–8pm and provides an opportunit­y for men and women to benefit both physically and mentally.

FOOTBALL MEMORIES

This award-winning project provides the opportunit­y for men and women to get together and reminisce about games, players and goals from a time“when fitba was fitba”.

Sessions take place at McDiarmid Park as well as in Blairgowri­e and Crieff.

SAINTS KIDZ COMMUNITY FOOTBALL PROGRAMME

For girls and boys of all abilities – keep active and healthy but most of all have fun!

SAINTS KIDZ SATURDAYS is back up and running every week at McDiarmid: MINI KIDZ for 3-5 year olds from 9.30am to 10.30am. SAINTS KIDZ FOURS for primary 1 to 2 from 9.30am to 10.30am. SAINTS KIDZ FOURS and FIVES for primary 2 to 4 from 10.30am to 11.30am. SAINTS KIDZ PREMIER GAMES from primary 4 to S2 from 11.30am to 12.30pm.

County sessions for boys and girls in P1 to S2 every week until the end of September: BLAIRGOWRI­E CAMPUS on Thursdays 5pm to 6pm. CRIEFF STRATHEARN CAMPUS on Tuesdays 5pm to 6pm. KINROSS LOCH LEVEN CAMPUS on Wednesdays 5.30pm to 6.30pm. PITLOCHRY RECREATION GROUND on Wednesdays 5.30pm to 6.30pm.

FAMILY FUN DAY AT THE CHERRYBANK INN

With great support from the Cherrybank Inn, we will be holding a Family Fun Day at the popular Glasgow Road hostelry on Sunday, September 24 between 12 and 5pm. The day will be a fundraiser for The Saints Community Trust and will include a range of fun activities for all the family: BBQ, inflatable slides, bouncy castles, face painting and much more. Put the date in your diary and look out for details.
