Girl gets dumped at home after sex
Mum finds her daughter outside in a terrified state
Dale Smith leaving court A 26-year-old man dumped his terrified, semi-naked exgirlfriend outside her mother’s home after having sex with her at a deserted car park in the early hours.
Wearing only her bra, the distraught woman’s “hysterical screams” wakened her mum who immediately contacted the police.
Dale Smith, who had manhandled his former partner out of his car, had earlier texted her the single word “nudes,” Perth Sheriff Court heard.
Wishing to make a go of the “on-off relationship,” she replied - and sent pictures of herself.
Around 15 minutes later, she received a further text from the landscape gardener, asking to meet up.
She agreed and despite arguing, he drove her to a “secluded car park” at Den of Alyth, according to depute fiscal Bill Kermode.
“She agreed to have sex with him to help rekindle their relationship.
“She was desperate for things to work,” he added.
But his mood changed after their love-making. He told her he wasn’t interested - and called her “a wh***”.
She was wearing only her bra at this point and he threatened to drop her off and then go to a local pub in Alyth and “show everyone what she was really like”.
She said the pub would be shut so the accused said he would take her to her mum’s house and dump her there.
“She said: ‘Do it then’ not believing he would.”
But he carried out his threat and she was unable to find the rest of her clothes during the two-minute drive to her mother’s home.
After forcibly pulling her from the vehicle, Smith shouted: “There you go.
“Your mother can see what you are like.
“You’re a f***ing psycho - a sl**.”
He then drove off but he was later traced by police shortly after 2am.
Smith admitted shouting and swearing at his former partner and making derogatory comments to her at two locations in Alyth on April 30 this year before forcibly removing her from the car while she was semi-naked.
He was subject to two bail orders at the time.
He also pled guilty to a second charge of threatening the same victim with violence at a house in Alyth on November 4 last year following an argument over messages on her phone.
Solicitor Craig Scott explained that when the complainer’s mother initially telephoned the police the information officers received described events which were “of a more grave nature and could only be tried in the High Court.”
Smith, of Hillview, Forfar, had experienced his “first taste of custody” after being remanded on the charge of throwing her out of the car.
“He appreciates this is a case where custody could be appropriate,” added the lawyer “The complainer has been visiting him in prison but he’s made it clear he won’t discuss the future of the relationship until he has been sentenced.”
The second incident was described as a “gross overreaction.”
Sheriff William Wood imposed a 145-hour Community Payback Order as an alternative to custody on the more serious charge.
Smith was fined £600 on the second offence.
He described the relationship between the pair as “far from healthy” and added: “I hope this is a lesson hard learned.”
