Perth’s Seain Cook can look back on a successful weekend at the Small Countries’Division European Beach Volleyball Championships.

Held at Portobello, Cook and partner Robin Miedzybrodzki navigated their way to the final to take on Finnish pair Santeri Siren and Jyrki Nurminen.

The Finns had been handed a wild card entry to the event and proved too strong in the showdown match, winning two sets to nil.
