Ladies in Perth are gath­er­ing for an af­ter­noon of top fash­ion and fundrais­ing in sup­port of char­ity which sup­ports peo­ple at home and abroad.

Hosted by the Ro­tary Club of Perth St Johns, the‘Pearls and Prosecco’ ladies af­ter­noon tea will take place on Sun­day, Oc­to­ber 1, from 1.30 to 4.30pm at the Hunt­ing­tower Ho­tel on the out­skirts of the Fair City.

With a cat­walk fash­ion show by Phase Eight, per­fume demon­stra­tions and‘Hair by John Gille­spie’, the event is set to en­ter­tain and in­spire. Guests will en­joy a prosecco re­cep­tion on ar­rival and an in­dul­gent af­ter­noon tea, worked off with some fun ex­er­cises laid on by Live Ac­tive Leisure.

Amongst the line-up are hus­band and wife team Stu­art and Claire Bruce of con­tem­po­rary jew­ellers Num­ber Five on Perth’s High Street.

The duo will be shar­ing the his­tory or pearls with guests and giv­ing cre­ative ideas on how to wear them with a mod­ern twist. Ro­tary Pres­i­dent Gail MacKay com­mented: “‘Pearls and Prosecco’of­fers a fun au­tumn af­ter­noon out with friends in aid of char­ity.

“We have a top line-up of demon­stra­tors and cat­walk mod­els who are giv­ing their tal­ents to the event.

“We hope the ladies of Perth will join us for a fab­u­lous af­ter­noon of fash­ion and fundrais­ing.”
