“We were well prepared, we were comfortable on the ball and we trusted each other.

“I have never scored a hat trick before, and for them all to be headers is pretty unique and special. Being a defender, goal scoring isn’t one of my strengths.

“I was shocked every time one of my headers went in! I love winning so being able to contribute to the score sheet is amazing.

“I will never forget the feeling of scoring each goal.”

The victory has Swifts sitting fourth in the table but only three points from third-place Glasgow Girls.

“I felt it was a complete team performance, we controlled the game and I’m pleased to have kept a clean sheet and we had five great goals.”

McCrindle was full of praise for star performer Henderson and added: “I’ve got to highlight Amy.

“She was a player I have tried to bring to the club for a while. She has had a great season being a rock in defence for us, and I’m delighted she got her hat-trick.

“We have three games left, and hopefully we can take Sunday’s performance into them and get our highest finish in SWPL2.” Rachel Todd provided a hat-trick of
