Nearly new sale

Perth and District Branch of the National Childbirth Trust (NCT) is hosting a nearly new sale this weekend.

The sale is being held on Sunday from 11.30am-1.30pm at Bell’s Sports Centre in Perth.

Children’s clothes, maternity clothes, toys, books, prams and lots more equipment are available from more than 70 sellers.

Perth branch has held nearly new sales for over 15 years and they are the group’s main fundraising event. 30 per cent of all proceeds raised go straight to the charity.

Local volunteer Vicki Anyon said: “Families can buy and sell pre-loved children’s products and help support the with service available to all within Perth and surrounding area.

“This helps us to run our groups, Bumps@ThePub and Bumps & Babies, where local parents get together, support each other, meet our volunteers and exchange helpful tips.

“Socialising in this way can be really beneficial by reducing the social isolation some new parents feel.

“We’re also really keen to do more to support parents with toddlers and are starting NCTeenies on Friday, October 27, for parents-to-be and parents of children under five years old.”

Doors open at 11.30am, with NCT given earlier access from 11.15am

Entry is £1, with children free. It includes a goodie bag.
