Roadworks started last night between Perth and Bridge of Earn.

There will be a further two nights of routine bridge maintenance at the M90 Junction 10 Craigend Interchange.

The overnight works will allow cyclic maintenance works on all the slip roads and structures at this location.

These works will include cleaning the bridge deck joints, carriageway channel and verge plus drainage clearance and landscaping maintenance.

The routine maintenance will require various slip roads on the interchange to be closed for a total of three nights between 7.30pm to 6.30am each night. Signed diversions will be in place for all closures.

Andy Thompson, BEAR Scotland’s representative for the north east, said: “These maintenance works are part of our commitment to ensuring that the North East network continues to be of the highest standard and to carry out works with minimum inconvenience to motorists.

“Every effort will be made to minimise the duration of the closures each night so as to minimise disruption to motorists.”
