Champion Highland dancer Gillian Urquhart – founder of dance fitness company Highland Hustle – is holding a fundraising ceilidh this Saturday in Murrayshall House Hotel, near Scone, to launch her new foundation, Hustle Helps.

TV favourite Lorraine, who has taken part in a Highland Hustle event before, said: “It was good to meet Gillian - she does such a brilliant job. I would have loved to have come to the fundraiser but I have to be in London. “I wish her all the best for this.” Perthshire North MSP Mr Swinney said: “Gillian has done an excellent job with Highland Hustle and ‘Highland Tots’, and I am delighted that her organisation has grown from strength to strength

“I am sure that her fundraising ceilidh on for Hustle Helps will be a successful evening and I am very pleased that she is looking to expand on the good work that she has already done in the area by supporting other community organisations.”

Mum-of-three and former PE teacher Gillian said: “We are having a Highland conference in the hotel on the weekend of November 10, but the fundraising ceilidh is on the Saturday night.

“We’re charging £7 per ticket and so we’re inviting local people to get involved and come and join us.

“The foundation is being set up to promote healthy living and exercise.” Saturday’s ceilidh starts at 7.30pm.
