CATH sleep out at city kirk

Perth charity Churches Action For The Homeless is holding its second sleep out outside St John’s Kirk tomorrow.

The event will see more than 60 people sleep rough in aid of the Fair City-based charity.

Organiser Ron Hogg is looking forward to the event and hoping to raise at least £2500 this year.

He said:“Last year was our first sleep out and it was a huge success.

“Last year we raised over £8000, but because there’s the Big Sleep Out in Edinburgh this year, it’s been harder to secure support – so we’re looking at a £2500 target again.”
