Cat’s mysterious images of nature
Perthshire photographic artist Cat Burton has two artworks showing at the Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts (RGI) Open Annual Exhibition in Glasgow.
The event runs from November 11-26 and Cat’s limited edition prints “Rust” and “Lost In The Fog”, were accepted into the exhibition.
The self-taught artist, now living in Perth, primarily focuses on the Scottish landscape with an aim to reveal the magic and mystery of the land.
Cat has been making waves in the local art scene since she moved to the area in February. She runs photography workshops in Perth and hosts a free monthly meet-up for local photographers, Perth Photo Club.
Commenting on her inclusion in the RGI Glasgow exhibition, Cat said: “I am so thrilled to be included.
“This is my first time exhibiting in the city and I’m excited to see the full collection.”
