Storytelling tour at distillery
Those who love a dram will be able to enjoy a tour, tasting and storytelling evening at one of Perthshire’s most iconic distilleries.
Storyteller Stuart McHardy will be sharing his stories of Scottish myths and legends at a special evening tour of The Famous Grouse Experience in the Glenturret Distillery in Crieff from 6pm on Friday, December 8.
Those on the tour will be given a tour of the distillery, leaving at either 6pm or 6.10pm, and will be able to take part in an exclusive tasting session with five different Glenturret whiskies, including some that are distillery exclusives and no longer for sale.
Stuart McHardy will then round off the evening with a final storytelling session.
Stuart McHardy is a regular contributor to BBC Radio Scotland’s McGregor’s Gathering, and has devoted his life to sharing his work through live storytelling and collecting traditional Scots stories after winning a Scots language storytelling bursary back in 1999.
The Glenturret tour, tasting and storytelling evening next month, part of the‘Make It Famous’ series of events at The Famous Grouse Experience, costs £35 per person, and includes canapes and the tasting session.
