Perth Silent Auction
Perth Honda renews fundraiser backing
The Perth Silent Auction is motoring along nicely. For the past five years, Perth Honda has been backing the Perth and Kinross charity fundraiser.
Not surprisingly, bids are flowing in for the 2018 model Honda Jazz 1.3 S six speed vehicle in stunning red which has been donated by the area’s main Honda dealership.
The latest model, five-door hatchback Jazz, retailing at £14,115, certainly lives up to the tagline ‘Small Car – Big Impression’, offering space, comfort and reliability.
The team at Perth Honda in the Dunkeld Road have established an enviable reputation for the high standard of their customer service and enjoy an impressive level of repeat business.
This year’s beneficiaries of the Silent Auction revved-up by the PA and the Rotary Club of Perth are the Kinfauns Stables Riding for the Disabled, Cornhill Macmillan Centre at PRI and the Archie Foundation Tayside Appeal.
Lyall Reekie of Perth Honda said: “The Perth Silent Auction puts the onus on local charities and we are delighted to be long-standing backers.”
Rotary president and auction co-ordinator, David Lindsay, said: “The Perth Honda team is fantastic supporters of the annual Perth Silent Auction. Their vehicles are always sought-after and I’m sure the charities will enjoy another massive boost thanks to their generosity.
“There are always a wide range of auction lots for motorists and this year is no different.”
Pentland Land Rover have donated the weekend use of a stylish Evoque while you could also choose to arrive at your destination in a Jaguar F-PACE provided by Pentland Jaguar.
Grassicks Garage has offered the use of an X5 BMW for a weekend, and also golf for two at Murrayshall and dinner at the local hotel.
Another unique lot is a ‘Feel the Need for Speed’ trip round Knockhill in a classic supercar Caterham 470 R.
And the auction also features everything from MOTs and servicing to roof bars, tyres and a car valet and washes.
Taking part in the Perth Silent Auction, as a donor of lots or as a bidder, couldn’t be simpler.
