Newburgh

Whinnybank Cat Sanctuary Eleanor, who has volunteered in the Newburgh shop for over a year, has had to give up due to family commitments. Sue thanked her for all her help and wished her all the best for the future. Congratulations go to Aaron, Sue’s grandson, who passed his driving theory test. Sue is looking forward to him being able to drive so that he can help out with collections and

deliveries. Crumble, a fluffy grey and white 14-year-old male cat who had been at Whinnybank for two months, has landed on his paws and now has a lovely new home. Sue was looking forward to an empty pen, but cat Jasper has come in for a week while his owners are away. Lots of items were left outside at their ‘Muchty shop on Sunday, including books, a dirty pram, broken heaters, etc – none of which can be resold. This happens every week outside both the shop and wastes a lot of Sue’s time taking it all to the skips – time which could be spent on the cats. Anyone who is able to offer a home to a cat, help at fundraising events, in their shops or at the sanctuary, should call Sue on 01337 840414, or by visiting www.catchat.org/adoption/fife.html or www. whinnybank.org.uk.
