Round-up Solid start for Bradley

-

Bradley Neil opened up his European Tour journey at the UBS Hong Kong Open yesterday.

And the Blairgowrie professional carded a solid one-over par 71 to remain nicely placed to make the cut.

Playing alongside England’s Aaron Rai and Woon Man Wong of Hong Kong, Bradley’s round included three birdies and four bogeys.

The 21-year-old’s score placed him in a tie for 47th alongside the likes of Paul Dunne and Edoardo Molinari.

Indian Shiv Chawrasia was quick out of the blocks to take the clubhouse lead after round one. He pencilled down a five-under par 65.

Competing on the European Tour is a dream for Bradley and he is now determined to make his mark with the world’s best.

He said: “It must have been at the age of 13 or 14 when I thought that this is something I want to do professionally.

“I’ve been involved on and off in the last three years but now I’m fully a part of it and it is a dream come true.

“It’s been a goal of mine for a long time and now it is a case of achieving some of the other goals I’ve set.”
