Mix of movies at film society

Perth Film Society Perth Film Society will be returning in the new year with a selection of carefully picked films to enjoy.

The first Thursday film night is on January 11,when‘Paterson‘ is the movie being screened.

The entertaini­ng American film is about the daily life a bus driver in New Jersey.

Two weeks later on January 25, a film in Spanish and French, titled‘Neruda’ is an entertaini­ng take on the life of a famous Chilean poet and politician.

Watch ‘A Man Called Ove’(February 8), ‘The Sense of an Ending‘(February 15),‘The Other Side of Hope‘(March 1), ‘The Olive Tree’(March 15) and‘The Most Wonderful Evening of My Life’ (March 22) , the 1978 film about a man who breaks down in the country and has to play along with the eccentric wishes of four retired judges.

The spring 2018 season of films is thought provoking and varied, taking everyone through the coming months with something to look forward to.

Please note, the films all start at 7.45pm in Norie-Miller Studio, in Perth Concert Hall – not in the Studio at Perth Theatre, as stated in the Horsecross brochure.

Tickets are £6 at the door or £35 for all seven films in the spring 2018 season. Seniors/unwaged/students come in for £5 or £30 for all seven films.
