Thieves flush out cash at Crieff hotel jet wash

LOCAL INCIDENTS

•In the early hours of Sunday, December 24, there was a break-in to the pharmacy at Rannoch Road, Perth. A member of the public contacted police at the time and a quick response by local officers traced a 39-yearold local man still within the premises attempting to steal a large quantity of stock. He was kept in custody to appear at court after Christmas.

•Police were called to a disturbanc­e in the Wallace Court, Perth area on Saturday, December

Money was stolen from the jet wash at Crieff Hydro Hotel 23, where a 34-year-old man was traced seriously injured. The male was taken to Ninewells Hospital but sadly died on Sunday. A 19-year-old male has been charged with his death. This was a contained and isolated incident and at no point was there any threat posed to members of the public.

RECENT INCIDENTS

•Between 12pm and 4pm Wednesday, December 13, a metal hanging basket and a wrought iron decorative bell were stolen from Leighton Square, Alyth.

•Between 3pm on Thursday, December 14, and 2.30pm on Friday, December 15, a pressure washer was stolen from South Corston Farm, Coupar Angus.

•Overnight on Friday, December 22, an Audi car was vandalised in Coach Road, Coupar Angus.

•Between 3.45pm and 8.15pm Friday, December 22, there was an attempted break in to a property in Galloway Crescent, Crieff.

•Between midnight on Monday, December 25, and 10am on Tuesday, December 26, the jet wash at Crieff Hydro Hotel was broken into and a quantity of money stolen.

•Between Sunday, December 10, and Sunday, December 24, a fuel tank was stolen from an open shed at Quilts Farm, Dunning.

•Overnight on Wednesday, December 20, a white Ford Focus motor car was vandalised in Percy Street, Stanley.

•Between 12pm Thursday, December 21, and 7.45am on Friday, December 22, there was a break-in to the Inchture Bowling Club.

•Between 11.45pm Thursday, December 21, and 12.05am on Friday, December 22, there was an attempted break-in to the Almondbank Service Station, Huntingtow­er.

•Between 1pm and 5.30pm on Thursday, December 21, a property in Glasgow Road, Perth was broken into.

•At about 12.30am on Thursday, December 21, a door was damaged at Speygate, Perth.

•Between midnight on Friday, December 15 and 5.30pm on Friday, December 22, a Nissan motor car was vandalised in Craigie Place, Perth.

•Between 11pm and 11.20pm on Friday, December 22, a glass door panel was vandalised at Pomarium Flats, Perth.

•Between 5pm Friday, December 22, and 11pm on Saturday, December 23, a window was smashed at Culley and McAlpine Solicitors, South Street, Perth.

•Between 1.30pm on Sunday, December 24, and 10.30am on Monday, December 25, a window was smashed at the Salvation Army, South Street, Perth.

•Between Friday, December 22, and Tuesday, December 26, a window was smashed at Perth Chiropract­ic Centre, Isla Road, Perth.

•Between Tuesday December 19, and Wednesday, December 20, a metal plaque at Lochleven Health Centre, Kinross, was damaged.
