Police name Errol victim

A man who tragically fell to his death near Errol just days after Christmas was this week formally identified by police.

David Templeton from Montrose died after tumbling into icy water at Pow of Grange on Friday, December 29, after stepping off a bus parked to let off passengers.

Rescuers attended the section where the 59-yearold fell in at about 8.15pm.

Once he was found, Mr Templeton was rushed to hospital but he was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.

Confirming his identity this week a Police Scotland spokesperson said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
