Talk on Karen’s adventure
Karen Inkster and her rescue animals - deaf dog Pip and ditsy mare Connie - walked 230km across 13 islands of the Outer Hebrides in an experience she describes as “truly humbling”.
Raising funds for the Blairgowrie Riding for the Disabled, Karen and her four-legged companions - the Deaf, the Daft and the Ditsy - coped with 16 days of rain, bogs, falling off, a missing horse and being sea bound on their own island during their journey, which they completed unsupported.
Karen will be talking about their
Karen, Pip and Connie Pic: Craig Cantwell Photography experiences at the Royal Hotel in Blairgowrie on Friday, February 23, at 7pm.
Tickets cost £5.90 and are available from the Eventbrite website by searching for‘The Deaf, the Daft and the Ditsy’.
All proceeds from the evening will be donated to The Dogs Trust Scotland.
