Healing Rooms

-

A project overseen by a Christian charity which sought to offer spiritual support to members of the local community – whether religious or otherwise – has been replaced following changes at a national level.

Perth Healing Rooms will now take the form of Light and Life Fairs, according to organisers.

Perth Healing Rooms was a Christian charity praying for people of any or no faith for spiritual, emotional and physical healing, along with spiritual readings for encouragement.

The Fair City branch of the Healing Rooms had been running out of Blend Coffee Lounge on the Old High Street in a bid to offer faithful services to the Perth community.

However, at the end of 2017 the national organisation Healing Rooms Scotland announced it was closing its network of rooms.

With the national body winding up last month, the network of churches and ministries in Perth have decided to replace the Fair City’s Healing Rooms with Light and Life Fairs following a successful fair in November last year.

The next Light and Life Fair will take place in Blend Coffee Lounge from 6.30pm until 8.30pm on Tuesday, February 20.
