QUALITY AWARD GIVES A FIVE STAR RATING

A Highland Perthshire hotel has achieved one of VisitScotl­and’s highest quality assurance awards, picking up a five-star grading from the tourism body.

Dunalastai­r Hotel Suites in Kinloch Rannoch, recently undergone a multi- million pound makeover, creating‘an oasis of luxury’.

The revamp promised to combine the building’s historic features with the finest modern interiors - and the move appears to have paid off.

The hotel has 32 suites and fine dining is offered in Edina’s Kitchen, the restaurant, which uses local ingredient­s in traditiona­l Scottish dishes.
