Perth athletes enjoy parkruns galore
across the line and second overall was Michael Carroll in 16:04.
He was followed by Stuart Robertson, who was third overall in 17:03, and hot on his heels was David Knight in 17:04.
For the women, Fiona Angus was first back for the club and fourth female overall in 22:45.
Gillian McGuire 24:32 and Laurie Carruthers 24:53 followed not long after.
At Plean parkrun, Kevin Riddell was second overall in a time of 19:12 with Gillian Edwards fourth female in 24:31. Vogrie parkrun saw Paul Grace finish 16th in 21:16 and Daile Sipple as eighth female in 26:10.
Three Perth runners travelled to Dunfermline to take to their 5km route.
Kevin Rogers finished third overall in 19:08, Caroline Jones in 29:12 and Gillian Smith in 29:13.
At Elgin it was Kristen Allcoat flying the green vest. She finished fourth female in 24:44.
And for the final parkrun tourism of the weekend, Lorraine MacPherson ran the Hove Promenade 5km route finishing as fifth female in 21:12. At the Scottish 5km Championship Road Race in Silverknowes, the Perth club had four runners in attendance.
Michael Carroll was first MV40 in 15:39 followed by Myles Bax in 16:15, Michael McConnell in 16:26 and Richard Jonathan Ward in 18:21.
The club regularly meets for a social run on Tuesday, separating into groups as per pace. Runners leave sharp at 6.30pm from Bell’s Sports Centre. Thursdays alternate between track and hill sessions. All are welcome.
