A fleet of 50 shuttle buses will ensure they run every three minutes during peak times on Friday and Saturday from Tay Street to Scone Palace, with return tickets costing £5.
The online sale of these tickets has already been closed, however they can still be bought directly from Perth Bus Station or from a kiosk in the city centre on the day.
Once on site, there will be a 20-minute walk from the bus drop-off point to the main arena.
Taxis will only be able to drop people off as far as Quarrymill car park, and pedestrians will only be able to enter through the main entrance to the palace. The council has therefore advised all people going to the BBC Biggest Weekend to be dropped off in Perth city centre so they can catch a shuttle bus.
