Savelives withbaby firstaid course
A baby first aid course will be held in Perth next month.
The interactive first aid course will be run by the National Childbirth Trust on Saturday, June 9 in Tulloch Community Centre.
The course aims to build parents’ skills and confidence to help them one day save a child’s life.
Led by British Red Cross trainers, there will be two sessions at either 10am or 1.30pm, aimed at parents of babies and children up to the age of 12.
There will be an opportunity to ask questions and share experiences with other parents. The course will look at how to help a baby or child who is choking or bleeding, has a bad burn, a raised temperature and how to spot meningitis.
It will also look at how to deal with a child who is unresponsive and breathing, and unresponsive and not breathing.
The course costs £22.50 per person or £40 for a couple.
