Whinnybank Cat Sanctuary Cinders, a rescue cat from Stirling over three years ago, had to have a tumour removed from her stomach, but was a very good patient. However, it has made it an expensive week for the staff. The sanctuary spent £400 treating Cinders, and Sue’s car needed new brake discs and pads which cost another £250. The fencing also needed repairing to keep the foxes out which resulted in a further £250. So, the staff are hoping the good weather continues so they can continue with their fundraising. Although, there was some good news, Sue found a litter of seven-week-old kittens at the farm near Lindores. If you can offer a home to a cat, help at fundraising events, in the shops or at the sanctuary, please call Sue on 01337 840414; or visit online at www.catchat.org/ adoption/fife.html or www.whinnybank.org.uk
