Soccer Saturdays finish for the summer break

Our Saturday sessions at McDiarmid Park have now finished for the summer and will begin again on Saturday, August 18. Saints Kidz Mondays and Wednesdays continue between 5 and 6pm at McDiarmid until the end of June and will begin on Monday, August 20 and Wednesday, August 15.

SAINTS KIDZ COUNTY

Our County sessions continue until late June at the following venues: Kinross from 5.30 to 6.30pm on a Wednesday until June 27 (begin again August 15).

Blairgowri­e from 5 to 6pm on a Thursday until June 21 (begin again August 16). Pitlochry from 5.30 to 6.30pm on a Wednesday until June 27 (begin again August 15).

SUMMER SOCCER WEEKS

We will be holding two of our popular Soccer Weeks in July from July 9 to 13 and July 23 to 27. Soccer Weeks are designed to give you a taste of what it is like to train as a profession­al footballer.

Everyone receives a family match ticket for a Saints game as well as full training kit.

The weeks are for boys and girls aged five to 16 and take place from 1 to 4pm Monday to Friday at McDiarmid Park.

The cost is £75 per course and places must be booked and paid for in advance, either online at www. saintsinth­ecommunity.co.uk or by completing and submitting one of our booking forms along with cash or cheque.

SUMMER GOALGETTER­S

Two-day Goalgetter sessions do not need to be booked in advance. Just turn up and pay £5 on the day.

The coaches follow a specific programme - all about fun and improving technique. Everyone who attends will get a family ticket for a Saints home game.

The sessions are open to girls and boys aged five to 16 and take place at McDiarmid Park from 1–4pm on July 2/3, July 4/5, July 16/17 and July 18/19. We also have sessions for Mini Kidz and Goalkeeper­s on July 4/5 and July 18/19. Mini Kidz (three to five years) from 1-2pm. Just turn up and pay £4. Goalkeeper­s (nine to 16 years) from 1-2.30pm. Just turn up and pay £5. County Venues as follows: Aberfeldy Home Street Pitch from 1.30–3pm on July 9/10. Crieff Strathearn Campus from 10.30am–12pm on July 5/6. Kinross Loch Leven Campus from 10.30am–12pm on July 3/4. Blairgowri­e Campus from 10.30am-12pm on July 11/12. Pitlochry Recreation Ground 10.30am-12pm on July 9/10.

SAINTS TEASER

Last week: It was Ally Gilchrist who was missing from the team line-up that played at home against Trakai on June 29, 2017.

This week: During the glorious Scottish Cup winning run in 2014, a total of nine different players scored for Saints.

Who is missing from the list ... Steven MacLean, Steven Anderson, Stevie May, Frazer Wright, Michael O’Halloran, James Dunne, Gary McDonald and Nigel Hasslebain­k.
