Everyone’s singing the same song… it was great

With 60 per cent of tickets for the Biggest Weekend being allocated to people living in Perthshire, it was a great event for fans across the Fair City.

The PA went to ask the music fans what they thought of the event – and the people of Perth said it was an“absolutely brilliant”weekend.

Catriona macQueen (25) from perth said:

“I am having so much fun. This is a great way to spend a lovely bank holiday weekend with my friends enjoying live music in the sun.

“It is absolutely brilliant that something like this is being held in Perth.”

Charlotte donaldson (26), from perth, said:

“I am really excited about seeing Emeli Sande and I am looking forward to Noel Gallagher as well.

“The weather is lovely which has made it a really good day. It has been so good to see so many people out and about in Perth for it.”

the fair City’s phil murrie (56) praised the organisati­on of the event:

“What a good job the council have done, the buses were so well organised – the whole thing was well organised. Perth has so many events and they are getting better and better at hosting them.”

Carol small (52) from perth said:

“It is a wonderful day and we are having masses of fun – and I am so pleased the weather in Perth is better than in Coventry and Belfast.

“There is a beautiful atmosphere. I was surprised Squeeze were on first but pleased we managed to see them.

“It is fantastic this is in Perth and, honestly, the organisati­on of the transport has been excellent.”

“The event is in beautiful surroundin­gs and there is a great atmosphere. Everyone is happy and well behaved.

“Whoever arranged for this to come to Perth did a fantastic job.”
