SociaNl eanmteerpinrishee–reand whether it is‘the business’ for rural economies – is the theme of the latest XChange networking event run by enterprise support organisation Blairgowrie-based GrowBiz, to be held on Thursday, May 31, at Gloagburn Farm in Tibbermore.
The GrowBiz XChange networking events take place every month at various locations throughout Perthshire.
As well as providing an opportunity to get together, network and exchange business cards in an informal setting, there is usually also a guest speaker at the events, talking about a range of subjects, perhaps highlighting their own business journey or providing practical advice on issues of relevance such as fBinualnlecet orf marketing.
This month, David Bryan from the Social Enterprise Academy, which provides training, education and leadership programmes for social enterprises across Scotland, will be the guest speaker.
David joined the academy from the Community Recycling Network for Scotland, where he was development officer for the north of Scotland.
Katrina MacPherson, social enterprise development officer from PKAVS (the Perth and Kinross Association of Voluntary Services) will also be speaking at the event.
