PERVERT BACK BEHIND BARS
Jailed in 2016 for sick haul of photos
A convicted sex offender who downloaded thousands of sickening child abuse images is back behind bars - after being caught with a computer.
Twenty-eight-year-old Gordon Simpson, who was jailed in 2016, blatantly flouted the conditions of a Sexual Offences Prevention Order when he was caught with an unregistered laptop at a flat in Perth.
The SOPO, imposed at Perth Sheriff Court in November, 2015, for other indecent child photo offences, prevented Simpson from having a telephone or laptop without advising police of their serial numbers and passwords to enable monitoring equipment to be installed.

The breach of the order led to the accused, of Skinnergate House, Perth, being jailed for eight months on Wednesday.
He admitted having the unregistered device at a flat in the city’s Mill Street on April 7, 2018.
Sheriff Gillian Wade also ordered the mobile phone, which belonged to the accused, to be confiscated.
In addition, two additional clauses, recommended by the police, will be included in the SOPO.
Solicitor Pauline Cullerton said Simpson had “no difficulty” with that.
Simpson, who appeared from custody, had been jailed for 36 months in November 2016, after he was found with more than 1400 indecent photographs of children, along with seven videos featuring children.
He was also ordered to be supervised by a social worker for two years following
