Church The service was conducted by Reverend Bill Ewart and Rev Peggy Ewart-Roberts. The Bible reading was from Mark chapter five, verses 21-43 and the organist was Janet Coyle. During the service Rev Peggy baptised Eliza Catherine Maclean, the infant daughter of Charlotte and Hugh Maclean who live in Kinclaven. Morning worship at Kinclaven is at 9.45am each Sunday and all are welcome. Rev Peggy is now on holiday for three weeks. Bowling Club The numbers in the lottery this week were 4, 11, 14 and 18. There was no winner and next week’s jackpot will now be £1280.

Luncarty

Church The service this Sunday will be held in Luncarty Church Centre at 10am, and will be led by the Rev Adrian Lough. All welcome.

Kinross

Kinross and Ochil Walking Group The group’s next trek will be on Saturday, leaving from Musselburg­h to Holyrood, a distance of eight miles. Quiz night The next event will be in Milnathort town hall this Saturday. It is being held in aid of local woman, Bethany’s year in India teaching English at the Living Hope School. Kinross Tennis Club The club will run its summer tennis camp which will start next Monday, July 9 to Friday, July 13 and on July 23-27. The mini sessions for children aged five to eight years will begin from 9am to 10.30am, and cost £45 per week; and the midi and junior camp for ages eight to 16 years begins at 10.30am to 1.30pm, priced £90 per week.
