- Court reporter

Three people appeared in court yesterday in connection with an alleged £43,000 drug discovery in Perthshire.

Morris Ferrie (51) from Perth and David Kiddy (26) and Samantha Ogg (26), both from Dundee, made no plea or declaration when they appeared at Perth Sheriff Court on Monday.

They were all charged with two counts of being concerned in the supply of drugs under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.

The hearing followed an alleged discovery of cocaine from a vehicle in Perth’s Canal Street as well as properties in Brora Court and Main Street in Invergowrie last Friday.

Ferrie was remanded in custody with another appearance scheduled in the next week. Kiddy and Ogg were both released on bail.
