Hair we go as Tiffany pays a visit
A Perth hairdresser was only too happy to step in when one of the acts needed to get ready for her show.
US singer Tiffany popped in to Rae Peacock Hair and Beauty to make sure she looked the part when she took to the stage on Saturday.
Rae had been contacted earlier in the week by Tiffany’s management but was stunned when he received a phone call from the star herself.
He told the PA:“I wasn’t expecting that but she was lovely and said we had been recommended and they liked our Facebook page.
“She just explained it was for styling and asked if I could go to the apartment she was staying in.
“I had to explain that as it was a Saturday we were really busy but I told her we had a private bit and could dedicate that to her and her team.
“She came in and she was lovely and such good fun and down to Earth. We just laughed the whole time. “She was really honest and was telling me about meeting Stevie Nicks and stories from gigs.”
Rae is no stranger to styling the stars, having worked with Deacon Blue and models like Jodie Kidd when he worked in Glasgow.
He moved back to Perth with his husband Craig four years ago and admitted he thought his days of styling the stars may have been at an end.
But he revealed Tiffany may pop in again: “She said she might have more gigs coming up in Scotland and is launching a new album and when that is sorted she will give me a call.”
