Freefestival experience

-

Young people are being offered a free festival experience, staying in a teepee with everything provided including food, bar and live music.

The offer comes from the Rural Perth and Kinross LEADER Programme which is laying everything on for The Rural Youth Ideas Festival next week.

Taking place at Hilton of Aldie Farm near Kinross, from Wednesday night to Friday evening, it’s an initiative for young people looking to make a career in the country, helping them meet each other and find their creativity and team spirit.

Eighty young people and 30 delegates from the Rural Youth Project partner organisations and rural business have been invited and the aim is, through the activities and networking, to give young people the confidence, skills and a network of contacts to support them with their endeavours.

It’s a cracking opportunity for 18 to 28-years olds, staying on a farm to hear from inspiring speakers from all across the world looking at social media, communications, business planning and policy.

Fun workshops include sausage making, mixology and working with horses.

Everything is included - you just need your clothes.

Camping is in teepees with airbeds and sleeping bags. Homemade cakes, stone baked pizza and barbecue are being provided, with live music from local bands and a festival marquee.

Some spaces remain for The Rural Youth Ideas Festival which takes place from 6pm on August 1 until 5pm on August 3.

To register interest, go to https:// www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/ RYPIdeasFes and you will be told within 24 hours if you have been offered a place.
