Vale have invited the Murramba Pipes and Drums Society from Queensland to play at the Highland night on Monday, August 13.

St Madoes and Kinfauns Parish Church Morning worship on Sunday starts at 10.30am in the Madoch Centre. On Tues- days, the summer café is open from 1.30pm to 3pm at the Madoch Centre. Scone

Scone and St Martins Parish Church Rev Bob Sloan will lead worship at a whole parish service in St Martins Church on Sunday at 10.45am. Everyone will be made welcome. Please note there will be no service in Scone church this week. The next fellowship lunch will take place next Thursday, August 2, at 12.30pm in the Burnside Hall.

Church There will be an opportunit­y to purchase Traidcraft goods following the Sunday morning service in Stanley village hall. Fete The church will hold its annual fete on Saturday, September 1, at 2pm in and around Stanley village hall. Bowling Club The numbers in the lottery this week were 4, 5, 8 and 13. There was no winner; prize money now be £285. Dance A dance will take place in Stanley Village Hall tomorrow from 8.30pm-11.30pm Music by Peter Bruce. All welcome.
