This indie survival adventure has been a long time coming ‚ having been first announced back in 2015 — but it’s been worth the wait.
Set in an alternative England, it’s 1964 and the residents of Wellington Wells are all addicted to a drug called joy.
They choose to take the
drug, so that they can forget the ‘Very Bad Thing’ they did to repel the Nazis when they invaded England at the end of WWII.
Those who don’t take Joy are called Downers — and are actively sought out and forced to take the drug.
It’s beautful, creepy, paranoid and scary. Don’t play it alone! We Happy Few is quirky and scary
