Highland Perthshire is set to welcome more than 45,000 people for the annual Land Rover Blair Castle International HorseTrials.
Visitors will travel to Scotland’s premier equestrian event from across the globe to watch an estimated 1800 horses compete.
The event, set against the backdrop of Blair Castle near Blair Atholl, takes place from Thursday, August 23 to Sunday, August 26.
Cross Country, Highland Pony Show, British Show Jumping and Pony Club Mounted Games will provide a treat for those attending.
And one of the highlights of the weekend will be the international riders competing in the finale of the Event Rider Masters series.
Andrew Bruce Wooton, general manager at Atholl Estates, said:“The Land Rover Blair Castle International Horse Trials always prove to be an incredible few days, with a wealth of local and international visitors coming together to cheer on more than 1800 talented equestrians.
“Blair Castle is the perfect setting for this prestigious event, with both the venue and the horse trials steeped in history.”
