Saltires flag up their new sponsor

PYF Saltires have received a sponsorship boost ahead of the new futsal season.

LPG specialists AvantiGas have signed up as kit sponsors for the Fair City-based squad, who play in the Scottish Super League.

Player-coach Kyle Ballingall was delighted to link-up with AvantiGas, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of LPG and energy solutions.

“Futsal is really growing, especially in Scotland with the new Super League, but you see it in the whole of Britain,”Kyle said.

“The new league format means we’re travelling all over Scotland now whereas it used to be just based in two areas.

“Now we’re travelling every second week to Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee sometimes.

“So sponsors are more crucial than ever because travel costs have gone up.”

AvantiGas has sponsored the first team in a two-year deal.
