Algo team take on Great Glen Challenge
Staff from a Perth construction company will be taking on the gruelling Great Glen Challenge for charity.
The team from Algo will be taking on the epic venture on Friday, August 31, which sees them travelling along the Great Glen Way from Fort Augustus to Neptune’s Staircase near Fort William.
The challenge sees teams competing against each other in a range of activities, including a 46km mountain bike ride, a 18km hike, 17km run and finally a 6km kayak to raise money for RSABI, a charity providing emotional and financial support to families in the agriculture industry.
Nicola Reid, office manager at Algo, said preparations are going well.
She said:“We have had a few group training sessions, running around the inch for example, along with some individual work at the gym.
“As long as we don’t finish last we will be pleased with our performance.

“Everyone was very keen to roll up their sleeves and participate in this event to raise vital funds for the RSABI.”
The team are hoping to raise £2000 for the charity with the Great Glen Challenge. Nicola added: “As they saying goes, every little helps.
