Quality field set for a Summer Carnival

Perth Racecourse heading for a Saturday sell-out

Perth Racecourse is gearing up to welcome some of horse racing’s finest on Saturday as it prepares for its annual Summer Carnival fixture.

The popular summer meeting, which is almost completely sold out, has £90,000 of prize-money at stake in total.

With healthy entries prior to final declaratio­ns on Friday, a quality field from across the UK and Ireland is expected.

Top jockeys including Sam TwistonDav­ies, Paddy Brennan, Harry Skelton and reigning champion Richard Johnson are all likely to be in action.
