Vale steadied the ship and started to look as they were going to do something as an attacking force with Mclauchlan, Renicks, Campbell and Morrison prominent but with no end result. Vale had a much better second half, keeping the home side to very few chances with Walker handling those with ease and whilst they didn’t miss any sitters they came close on a few occasions. Pitlochry Church of Scotland On Friday, September 14 a Christian Aid team will give a talk explaining their work including the cause that the church guild support. The talk is in the Tryst at 7pm. Pavilion User Groups The group has paid for the painting of the football storage container in the Recreation Ground. The area is now being well used by Aberfeldy/Strathtay football clubs for training and playing their games. Pitlochry Bowling Club The club charity day in aid of CHAS was another success with over £8000 raised. The total raised for this cause by the club now totals £102,000. The Moulin Vase was won by Newtonmore. The
